August

With our weather finally stabling out to around 20-30 degrees the Fishing on top has become very consistent. With Terrestrial and Larger Attractor Patters During the day and towards the evening we are seeing Lime Sally’s, PMD, Light Cahill and Green Drakes. Some of the Tributaries north of town are still getting the Caddis and the Golden Stonefly’s. The Wigwam is now low enough to walk and wade and the Bulls are now stacked all the way up the river, fishing large streamer and nymph patters have been productive early in the morning and late in the day for bull trout.
